1. Plan, survey, design, inspect, and conduct engineering analysis related to highway maintenance, highway safety, and small-scale construction projects for the Highway District.
2. Plan and implement the construction of medium-scale projects and maintain the assigned highway network.
3. Handle land expropriation and legal matters.
4. Operate vehicle weigh stations.
5. Plan, manage, and maintain machinery and vehicles.
6. Plan, supervise, and monitor the operations of the Highway District to ensure compliance with policies, plans, and goals.
7. Handle permits as assigned under the Highway Act.
8. Provide technical advice, guidance, and support to the Highway District and other agencies.
9. Collaborate with or support the operations of other relevant or assigned agencies.
